SPITZENBERG

Spitzenberg, village 18 houses and 173 people. One hour walk South from Salnau on the left of the Moldau; this village has a port, at which wood, shipped on the Moldau, is unloaded and brought over land to the freight canal. Here also is the Hefenkrieg mill and a few hundred steps south is the dukes mill on the Hefenkrieg Creek. Farther NW is the Zaunmühle, a rustic mill with a saw on the Moldau. Finally, the duke's hunters residence and across from the Zaunmühle, the Zaunbauer farm.
